IN CONVERSATION *
We're inviting artists to creatively explore the hidden realities of chemsex within the queer community, focusing on the emotional and psychological impacts. This commission aims to highlight how societal pressures, mental health struggles, and a lack of meaningful connections drive individuals toward harmful coping mechanisms.
This project is not about judgment, but about visibility and acknowledging how often these experiences remain unseen. Framed through a harm reduction lens, we want the final artwork to reflect the complexity around chemsex, not just as a behaviour, but as a symptom of deeper struggles with mental health, belonging, and intimacy. We aim to encourage conversation, reflection, and empathy on the streets of London
We have now shortlisted the artists for the project. On this page, you can find information about each artist and details of their proposals. Voting will open soon.
The selected artist/creative will receive a £5,000 prize - £2,500 for them and £2,500 donated to a charity of their choice.
